I took the wife's Z out for a spin and hit some gravel when I threw into 3rd. That thew me a little sideways and both right rims hit the curb (going 40mph). Messed them up pretty good.

Any suggestions on finding some cheap replacement 18" OEM rims for an '03 Touring?

I called the dealership, they want $777 per wheel.

So, I little digging with the help of google and found these: http://www.1motormart.com/part...Wheel

Do any of you think it'd be wise to order these or just go factory? That's a difference of $559.

Also, can anyone point me in the direction of a parts catalog for the car? My back rear ground-effect thingy (that's the technical term right?) got scraped really bad too. Need to have it replaced as well.

my father hit a pothole and took out a pair of chrome 17's on his DTS, after buying the 2 wheels from one of the discount OEM retailers it would have been cheaper to buy a full set of 4 aftermarkets wheels, you might luck into a deal on individual or even a pair of wheels on ebay, if you stay with OEM's search the net for OEM wheel retailers you'll find they cost a lot less then the dealer, in out case it was abotu half

As long as the wheels are not bent they can be fixed. My track wheels where curbed before I bought the car and it will only cost $150 to get all four fixed.

Check ebay, I see sets on there all the time. Maybe even upgrade to the forged Rays or even the G35 coupe 19" Rays .

if the wheels aren't bent outta whack or nothing i think you can still salvage them... there's repair shops that will fix the wheel for you for much less than the dealers price... there's also some do it urself methods to it as well... and is the most cost effective way of gettng the job done, but this involves some work that most poeple rather just pay someone else to do...

here's a link: http://www.bmwtips.com/tipsntr...r.htm

I've scuffed mine up too.. it's frustrating but the mark of an urban warrior... the method works pretty well..

You would be amazed at what salvage yards will sell you they may have a right pair from a left side wreck much cheaper than the crooks I mean dealership. NEVER get anything from a dealership unless they are the last place on earth left. Also samej has a good idea also.

Look around because you can find them cheaper than that price. Post up a topic in the calssifieds. I'm sure someone will have some for sale.
