Whats the best way to get rid of curb rash without sending the wheels off to a shop? Basically a budget fix.

Don't look at your wheels when you walk up to your car.

attach the wheel to a large vice or put something heavy on it, heat it up with a torch and the lightly tap and bang out the dent with a soft and rounded mallet.

or get something with a strong clamping force and rotate it around the wheel edge to smooth out the lip.

call up a machine shop way out of your area and ask them

the wheels are not bent, it just has serious curb rash all around. Im trying not to have to send it to a wheel shop, but i should just to its professionally done, and good to go 4 paint. Any ideas how much it would cost around?

About $100 per.I believe a company called Wheels America specialises in wheel repair and refinishing. Could be wrong though.

o, i was looking to do something a little more local, cause these wheels arent really worth shipping just to get fixed.
