Cupholder drop-down fastner on Y33 broken

I dropped down the folding holder for a can of coke and it broke! The local dealership says the entire assembly has to be replaced and they want $175.

One of the hinges thing broke off, plastic crap. Any ideas?

Nope, always felt pretty sturdy! Thanks for the heads up though I'll keep it in mind.

Always seemed sturdy to me too, I was driving and in a hurry eating lunch and sticking a drink into the holder with the wheel in one hand and a sandwich in the other. I am PO'ed, i hvae to call a few of the yards, this is not a part that is listed.
