Modern engines are no longer measured in "cubic innches) of displacement but cubic centimeters.

The VH45DE is 4.5 liters, 4494cc.

If you MUST convert, it's approximately 274 cubic inches.

60.6 cubic inches to the liter.

Is general science no longer and eigth grade requirement?

Now go around to the back of your car and read the trunk.

I bet it says Infiniti

welcome to NICO!

IMO anyone who still refers to engines in CIs has no idea what fuel injectors or coil on plug ignition is.

I know it's a simple mistake but that really bothers me too.

1 cubic inch = 16.387064 cc

Sure it's not 61.023 cc per liter

60.6 cubic inches to the liter. Is general science no longer and eigth grade requirement?

That's a 7/10 of a percent error

You're correct.

More precisely 1 liter = 61.023743837 cubic inch

Forgot to account for inflation since I was so young!
