My wife loves her Cube but she really wanted a sunroof. I found on youtube a video of a Seattle shop that installed a Webasto 900 sunroof on a cube and looks really cool. Even though its awesome she also liked the sunroof look on the JDM Cube G but we have the SL.

What is your opinion - get the aftermarket sunroof or wait for the Cube G to come out in the states and trade it in?

I was under the impression that we were never getting the sunroof version in the US...

I haven't seen it announced yet but i think it will come next year or the following year. Here is a website with better pics of the JDM Cube G.

The Webasto looks better than the JDM IMO. Whats the pricing (parts and install)? Just curious

Imo, I would trust a sunroof that is not at purchase from the dealer on the car. It won't be perfect compared to oem.

Within the link to you tube; Seattle auto trim design charges $1400 for install but varies on install. You have to call an custom autoshop in you zip to find out if they can do the job and what's the price for labor.
