I think the Ct26 also comes on the 7MGTE, if so the turbo should be big enough to give you good performance. THe intercooler should fit with no major hassle, as for the ECU the answer is NO. Also, you would have to be very lucky to have piping that could be transfered to the 240, considering they're different cars.

That turbo is ok. It also came on the MR2 turbo and so old WRX's.

It's pretty small about the size of a T-25

no it's huge for a stock turbo, like a small TD06. the exhuast flange is funky though, you will have to modify the manifold to mount it but it should work ok for a KA.

I know that my all-trac ecu won't fit.Did I will have to change the ecu of my ka ??? Or I just have to make it fit there with nothing else. I also have a evc that I will put in to control boost.

Can you give me a list of what I will need ???

The 7MGTE Supra Turbo is usually an upgrade to the all trac turbo.

An Apexi AFC or some sort of FMU would work.

-The 7MGTE CT26 has a slightly larger compressor wheel (don't know about the housing), and a different exhaust housing, internal wastegate is different (single port)

-You should junk that intercooler, not exactly a gem

-The ST185 CT26 should be goog for over 250hp, it also has an awsome internal wastegate setup with dual ports

......and if you want to sell the all trac.......let me know :D

I have a built in hatred for the CT26 and the 7M-GTE engine for the hell it put me through. I will someday buy a MKIII supra and shoot it with every gun I own till my vengeance is satisfied. However, it probably will work for your setup, although the flange is really funky. Please do a search or read through the Turbo KA forum, pretty much all the information you need is easily found by searching.

My entire turbo setup has been pretty much based around the CT26. I got mine just over a year ago off e-bay. It's from a late 80's Supra. I really had no idea what I was getting myself into when I bought it, I just knew that I wanted to put it on my KA. Well, I still haven't quite gotten it on yet, but the day is coming soon. At least I've had plenty of time to take it apart, rebuild it, paint all the parts with that high temp paint crap, and put it all back together. The flanges were not too hard to get made. I got the exhaust inlet side from the company that I bought my manifold kit from and the outlet side I got from some dude for free after asking a dozen questions or so about the CT26 he was selling on E-bay not too long ago. Of course when I got it I realized that the tube would point up instead of down when I installed it on my ride, so..... I sliced the flange side off and bought a 2" piece of weld-bend pipe that I'm getting welded on to it. It took a lot of leg work but didn't wind up costing me all that much, so far. From what I've read this turbo will suit my needs for a 7-10 psi, 4.6L Mustang smoking, 93 octane drinking, hell raiser. :smoker I plan to start putting it all together in the next few weeks, I've just been really busy for the past 6 months b/c I'm getting married this Saturday. I've got boxes of crap just waiting to be installed on my ride. Am I going on too much? :D I have a little buzz, can you tell?:bandit Anyway, I'll wrap this up. Here's what I have put together for my setup; The CT26, manifold and downpipe, 255lph fuel pump(already installed), Blitz SIC, 4 460 cc injectors(only need 2 but spares are always nice), El cheapo bypass valve, Starion I/C, Autometer Phantom Boost and EGT gauges(look sweet) and pillar mount pod, just had a custom 2.5" cat -back made with a flowmaster at the end(looks almost stock but sounds wicked) and I just rebuilt the top end of my 24E(valve noise? what valve noise?) I have a water injection setup too, anybody want to buy it? I've also drilled my oil pan for the oil drain since I had it off for the timing work. Some advice, don't get drunk, take your motor apart and get drill happy, I've got a drain hole on both sides of my oil pan. Don't ask. I just need to do a little plumbing and I'll be there! Damn, it's been a long time coming.
