My Q's have several seen trips of this length (Cincy to South GA), and they've always performed like a champ. Just know that you'll have a sore bum when you get there as the lower seating area does NOT provide enough support.

Most recently, I made a Cincy to ATL to Cincy run in my M30 convertible and even though it has blah tires, no suspension upgrades and 2 less cylinders, I was amazed at how well it did. BY no means did it have the balls to run up the steep inclines in the KY and TN mountains, but it performed nearly as well overall. I'm looking forward to next summer's trip as I should have completely replaced the suspension and tires by then.

Enjoy the ride and be safe.

Did Brooklyn to Toledo in about 11 hrs.. a couple of years ago. No speeding, but in rain almost all the way from PA on.

Later Q seats a perfect for me and allow 12 hrs stints with no fatigue nor discomfort.

I agree... The only thing that keeps me getting out of the car on LONG trips is having to fill up for gas every 400-420 miles....

Be careful on the turnpike...

Just got back yesterday from a 2800 mile trip covering 6 days, averaging 21 miles per gallon, on Shell V-Power or Chevron 93. Nary a hiccup, ran flawlessly. In fact, in the 50K miles I've put on the car, the only thing that ever gave me trouble on the open road was an iffy MAF, which would just cause the engine to cough occasionally.

The G50 had one of the quietest cabins offered in those days, and I find the 96 seats to be very comfortable, even on 14 hour driving days.

And, oh gawd, I LOVE being able to pass anyone, anytime, for any reason. It's a great car at 80 mph - even greater at 120.

BTW, I spent 3 days driving in the South's current super-100 degree heat wave - saw numerous cars on the side of the road with blown tires. Shredded, gone, wheel showing. Gives you an idea of what Q45tech means when he talks about tire quality. Some of these people musta pooped their pants when their tire blew without warning at freeway speeds.

well guys i finaly got to ohio, i would have posted sooner but no internet in dorm, but anyways, the trip was great, car didnt like being loaded down but once it cruised man she did great, however the transmission isnt liking me, i tryed to solve this by doing a fluid change and flush the cooler but didnt help, when the transmission gets warm after about an hour and a half of driving it falls out of 4th gear and into 3rd, so im driving around at 2 1/2 -3 grand, its bad, but this only happens between 45 mph and 60 mph, i dont know, i give up and tryin to fix it, i know i have a bad TPS curcuit but i couldnt find the problem with that either, maybe they are related, anywyas, the trip was great the Q was comfortable and it was generaly beautiful weather.
