OK guyz, atlast i did it !

Last night we installed the ct26 turbo which came off a 7mgte supra,on my blacktop sr20det...and lemme tell u,,its awesome

Holds up to 20 psi with ease, but the car still needs more tuning with the afc, to lean the mixture a bit,,cuz i was running rich just to be on the safe side !

DID anyone else here try this turbo ????????:ylsuper

Could the CT-26 be installed on a red top? If so I'd like to here about the installation process. I happen to have a CT-26 Turbo lying around.

Brandon.

The CT26 has a T25 flange? Does it bolt right on? I'm assuming its non bb, right? Ooh. If they're cheap to come by, I just may have to get one. 20psi sounds like hard kinky sex on speed and acid!

The ct-26 came off the 7mgte's and 3sgte's. The mkiv has the ct12-b. The max boost on the ct26 should be no more than 15-16 psi. Unless you change the wheels to a 57-1 or 60-1 it loses efficiency. I used to have a boosted mk3.

CT26 isn't the best turbo IMHO. If your gonna do all that custom work why not at least put a decien turbo on it?

MKIII Supra's even with the 'big wheel' CT26 cant' make more than like 350rwhp..... and that's with a 3.0 I6.

Why limit yourself like that if your gonna do all that custom work.

I put the ct26 just to try it out, nothing more, and may be able to produce 350 hp with proper tuning.I was thinking of buying a garret gt30 after this turbo??do u have any experience with these turbos ?
