I wish I could find this other survey that was essentially trying to determine the same thing. It was some 100 questions or so though. I think on that one, I was some 60+% addicted. This one says I'm only 42%. And I play quite regularly.

And as far as CS being compared to a Civic, I find that a terrible analogy. While it may have the high numbers compared to other FPS games, it is much better than most IMO. Other games are just too slow paced. I like Battlefield 1942 and it's various mods, but I find myslef running from the spawn points to the enemies only to get blasted by some moron in a plane or tank. So you end up haveing to wait at a spawn point where certain vehicles spawn. Either way, you don't get to fight or shoot as much. HALO for PC is fun online, but since it has vehicles as well, it tends to be more a vehicle warfare game. I actually get killed more by my own teammantes who are driving erratically or when the vehicle is flipped over by a grenade or something, they land on me. CS is way more tactical and fast paced. I tend to like to crefer to CS as paintball without the cost or hurt. But I still do enjoy a good game of paintball.

Your video card and your connection speed are your two most important factors. My old 733 with 256 MB RAM ran just as fast as my 2.4 GHZ 512 MB RAM when playing CS. So long as you set the video option to Open GL. DirectX can kiss my *ss.

I laugh at those who try to knife and get killed. Unless of course it's last resort. But I see so many try to sneak up on someone else and they might get one stab in but then they get shot. I mean, who is stupid enough to bring a knife to a gunfight? =)

Ditto.. AA pwns CS, plus it's FREE. BTW i'm only 9% addicted to CS.And last year I was 100% addicted to AA. Now I don't play at all. i couldn't find a happy medium so I had to go cold turkey
