You mean ATB and Paul Van Dyk, and I think you're referring to the riff from "9am Till I Come" off his Movin' Melodies LP. Good album but kinda old (I bought it in Germany like three years ago) :)

My current fave is the Sun Project "Looking for You". Real good stuff. Others are:

Andain - Summer Calling (Gabriel & Dresden) Ayla vs. Safri Duo - SunrisePvD - For an AngelMark James - Hear Me

Check those out if you like trance/house.

Like I said before, AFI's "This Celluloid Dream" rocks. Plus those other AFI songs you listed are all great. Finch also has some good songs like: Stay w/ Me, Three Simple Words, and Perfection Through Silence. Try 'em out!

Lateralus is an awesome CD. I rarely listen to music in the car (I'm weird), but that's a good choice. Parabola from the same CD kicks much *** too.

Mer de Noms is a good choice (and Tool-related too), and they have another CD coming out in a few weeks. I need to burn a good driving compilation now. :)

Never said AFI is emo. Midwestdrifter classfies Finch as emo, saw that I liked a few of their songs (all of which aren't emo songs btw) and led himself to believe that emo is all I listen to. I like it, I just don't get all caught up in it...

In short, emo is "emotionally-charged punk rock". Depending on who you talk to, you're bound to get different answers...

Ok I can see that as a good answer. Everyone would always say it was just emotional and I'm like emotional what damn it. Thanks drift. Although finch has at least one hard core song. I kow the song they played oin the radio sounded nothing like the song they do on the warped tour 2002 sampler. Sorry I don't know the name of the song. I like punk rock but I find it more cost effective to buy samplers because they have like 30 songs for 5 bucks, and my computer blows.

No prob skwerel... Yeah, a few of the What It Is To Burn songs are fairly hardcore. Also the warped-tour song you're talking about is "Untitled" I think there new single is "What It Is To Burn" so that's probably what you heard on the radio.

Cruisin music depends on your mood, time of day, purpose, car you're in....etc, etc. I always look for a laid back beat or some mention of cars.
