Has anyone experienced issues with their Intelligent Cruise Control in near freezing temperatures?
Mine will disengage and give a error message when the temperature is near freezing. It will work for a few miles then stop. It will not re-engage until you turn the key off then back on.
When the temperature is above 10 degrees celcius, it seems to work fine. Mine is a 2003. I believe newer models allow you to hold in the cruise button to take ICC out of effect but mine will not.
The shop manual says that the cruise will disengage when the laser is experiencing a low temperature. There is no mention of this in the owners manual. When the cruise kicks out, the ''CRUISE'' light illuminates in orange and the distance marking flash. From the owners manual, it states that this is a laser problem. I have tried cleaning the laser with no success.
Otherwise, it works normally when it's warm out.
