cruise crontrol disconnect switch

I have a 1995 altima, 2.4 liter, 5 speed trans. I have lost my cruise control set ability. I have power to the main switch on the left of the speedomider, but I can't set it. I think it is the switch under the clutch pedel, but I believe there is also one for the brake pedel. If there is one on the brake pedel, where is it and what does it look like. Do I also repalce the switch under the clutch, or is that just to allow the engine to start when depressed? Thanks for any consideration given.
