cruise controll??

am i just retarded or is my cruise just pooched??you would think if you just got up to highway speed like 120 you would just hit set but mine does nothing when i hit set.

have you tried using cruise control at a normal speed... say 55 or 65?

hahha oops i guess this is an american site so ya 120 km/h is about 60 or 70 mp/h

theres definitely something wrong there... it might only be a minor problem. its problably just something wrong with the electrical or wiring thats causing the button to not engage. but im no mechanic so you might want a second opinion lol.

There also could be a vacuum leak. My cruise doesn't work either, so I just took it out.

Hey since your from Alberta i'm going to assume that it's a Fairlady, and for the reason why your cruise control dosen't set at 120 km/hr is because in both my skyline and my fairlady at roughly 105-110 km/hr a small *ding**ding* sound comes from the dash this is some sort of slow down warning (yeah right!!!) and it also is a part of cruise control. In my fairlady it sets at a max of 105 km/hr but it won't hold steady at any more. So if your cruise dosen't set anywhere near 100 km/hr then i say your cruise is pooched. could be as easy as a fuse or something.

hahhahaha WHAT a slow down indicator???? NO WAY at only 105??? hahahahy i still have two more gears screw that ahahahha k i will try driving at 105 but thanks for the input... thats probley why i never here it is cuz i usually shift around 130 140 into 4th so my car is so lound i never here the ding ding ding
