cruise control

[Ill give u a head start]

i tried using my cruise control for the first time since i bought the car and found out it doesnt seem to work.I push the "ON" buttun and a green light comes on but when i tried to set it using the lever on the right of steering wheel nothing happens.

Please help my legs are killin me lol

btw i have used cruise on my previous 300zx about a year ago but it took me a little while to figure it out so i was guessing im forgetting something again

mine doesn't work either. same thing. light goes on with button but then nothing happens with the steering wheel button.

Same thing here, like head start I figured I was doing something wrong. I'm just too lazy to look in my owners manual.

Forgot that I brought it in today.This is from the original 1993 Owner's ManualTo turn on the cruise control, push the main switch on. The "ON" light will come on.To set at cruising speed, accelerate your vehicle to the desired speed, push the SET/COAST switch and release it (Type A), or push down the cruise control lever and release it (Type B). (The "CRUISE" light will come on.) Take your foot off the accelerator pedal. Your vehicle will maintain the set speed.

Type A is for the controls on the steering wheel. The manual goes into other things like passing vehicles, canceling, reseting, resuming, etc.

i don't think it's us. it doesn't surprise me at all though. mine supposedly has a chip and also has a number of problems. haha. the horn doesn't work either and since they're both on the steering wheel, the CC problem just sort of blends in with the horn problem and it feels like only one problem

Yeah, I actually tried to get the cruise working after I actually read the owner's manual and it didn't work either. To think, all this time I thought I was doing something wrong.
