This may sound like a trivial, stupid question, but . . .

I have a Murano, which I am considering trading in for a Versa (why? more rewarding job, less pay). I really like the Versa!

One thing I hate about my Murano is the cruise control light. At night it is VERY bright. It does not dim with the rest of the dash lights. When I'm traveling on a dark highway, this is very distracting.

Has anyone had this experience with the Versa?

Even though I am downsizing, I am looking forward to the Versa. I found the seats and seating position very comfortable. I am quite surprised by this little car.

Thanks!

The lights are not a problem with the V especially since they are off center and in the left pod.

I have owned a couple of cars that I actually had to place something in front of the different indicator lights on the dash.

My only gripe is I wish the backlights were a little brighter during the day as I wear some clip on shades that almost keep me from seeing the various guages. Honda probably has some of the best dash lighting around.

The cruise light is bright bright green, and like on the Murano, does not dim with the other dash lights (none of the warning lights do actually). As Deke said, they're out of the way. The few times I have driven at night with cruise, it was not a problem. I found the TPMS light (on my first V) to be WAY more distracting, during both the day and night. But since the TPMS systems seem to have been fixed, this should not be an issue for you.

Just get the Versa! I traded my '03 Mo for an '07 Versa and couldn't be happier!! More comfortable.. it fits much better!

P.S. -- I never felt that way about the cruise on my Mo.. although I heard multiple complaints.

Thanks! I was kind of dreading trading in my Mo. I test drove a few cars (including the Yaris) and wasn't impressed. The Versa was a pleasant surprise, and now I'm looking forward to it.

Just too make you feel a little better about trading in the Mo I traded in an 07 Camry LE and have never regretted it.
