Cruise Control issues

My cruise control doesn't work and I can't figure out why, when I hit the button on the dash, the light on the button comes on but it won't set the cruise when I try to set it. Also, the dash light in the cluster doesn't come on...anybody got any ideas?

You may need an actuator or cruise control module. Are you getting a code when you activate it? It will narrow down which one you need.

so when you turn the cruise on, it comes on (light comes on the button) but when you go to set it, you press the button and it does nothing and the green light in the cluster doesnt come on???

Does the light ever blink?

I have this same problem. It worked fine before then it would work off and on, and now it won't turn on. But yeah the cruise button on the dash lights up but when you set it it doesn't activate.

my s13 is doing the same thing, i hit the c.c. on button and the green light comes on, but no light in the dash cluster and set/resume/cancel buttons do nothing.

i was thinking it was a fuse that was out, but i looked everywhere and still havent been able to find out which fuse it is??

please help!!
