Would like assistance in trouble-shooting non-working cruise control on a 1989 240SX.

Dash control lights up, however, cruise control will not engage when button on steering wheel is pressed.

Any ideas on how to begin search for problem would be helpful.'

Thanks.

is the actuator in the passenger cabin or is it in the engine bay on the passenger side?

I replaced the ACSC module in the engine compartment already, but the c/c still did not work.

If there is a module or control in the passenger cabin, is it located on the passenger side next to the car's computer?

Hey there. If either of you have a 5 Speed...sorry, not too technical...

Be sure that your clutch pedal is lifted up as high as it can go. There are contacts/springs whathaveyou in there that must be touching to properly engage/disengage the clutch and cruise.

I have a loose pedal in my 89 that slips down just enough and all I have to do is lift it with my foot and then cruise.

This might help :)
