Cruise Control Issue

Car: 2012 Nissan Versa Sedan

I purchased a 2012 Nissan Versa Sedan last August and twice now the cruise control has failed to disengage after the first brake tap. It does go off with the second tap. Has anyone else experienced this?

It should disengage upon the first touch of the brakes. It's a new car so I suggest taking it to Nissan and having them fix it.
