Cruise control issue on my 1992 240 SX vert

Hello all,

I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction concerning fixing my cruise control on my SX. The little light on the instrument cluster illuminates when I turn on the cruise control and attempt to set the speed but it does not take control of the accelerator. I have checked all the fuses in both of the panels that I have located and they are all good.

What am I missing?

Under the hood look at the throttle - there is a 2nd throttle cable for the cruise control that goes back to an actuator. Check that cable to make sure it is not loose, disconnected etc.

Or the actuator (rubber part) has gone bad.

I have some extra pieces laying around if needed.
