Cruise control isn't working on my 04 Qx56

I need some help guys. My cruise control isn't working on my 04 Qx56. When I try to activate it I receive a beep and two cruise lights show up on the cluster. One green and one orange. In addition, I also have AWD light on. The 4wd doesn't engage properly either. Per an infiniti service department the two issues are associated. According to the service department my ICC module is bad under the front bumper, which costs 2500.00 for them to repair. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know if one could repair the problems described themselves? So frustrating because the tech made a note during diagnostics saying he would start with the module first. Not very convincing and pretty pricey for a guessing game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thats a rare issue ive not seen reported on here but it is a possible culprit.

what i would do is see if there is a DTC at the obd port and cross reference any error you pull and start form there. most likely if its is electrical it should show up as an error code.
