i have done some searches, but found nothing too helpful...i have a 95 s14 and the cruise does not work. the green light comes on when i push the on button, but does nothing after taht with the control buttons on the steering wheel. i dont know where the fuse is for it. i have looked at the blue box thats in the passenger kick panel, but i couldnt get it out. i dont know if that is where a fuse may be. also, is there any way to check the vacuum pump and actuator w/o swaping them out?

anybody??? i took the switch out (right behind the emc) and i tested it. it clicks when i push the on/off buttopn. i was unable to take out the actual control unit. it is way up there. so i dont know if that would have anything that can mess up like a fuse. other than that i guess ill have to find somethnig and swap the underthehood componets...ehh

check your ascd cancel switch first on your brake pedal. The rubber stoppers have a tendency to crumble apart and fall out. It is a 95 so it might not have fallen out just yet, but check anyway. You will need to look under the dash for this. There should be 2 rubber stoppers on the brake pedal arm. If this checks out OK then the FSM has procedures for troubleshooting the Cruise Control. You should also be able to consult the Mitchell manual for Nissans at most libraries.
