Cruise control combination switch (1990)

Hey all,

I recently bought a Z and I am new to working on cars in general, so I don't know if this is a stupid question or not. The 1990 300zx NA doesn't have the cruise control arm on the combination swith, but I noticed that the 91-96 models do. Will a combination switch from a 91-96 model fit on my 90 model? I have an aftermarket wheel on my car, but I still want to have CC. Any help would be appreciated. Thx!

I would seriously doubt it. If you don't get an answer on here, I would consider consulting the FSM for a 1990 model and a 91+ model and comparing the wiring diagrams. I imagine they are quite different.

Well, I bought the 91+ housing and cruise control arm (used). Once it comes in, I will try to see if I can convert it over. I will let you know if it works or not. Thx for replying

In case anyone was wondering, I successfully converted the cruise control unit from the 91+ onto my car. It took forever to get going because I didn't realize the kill switch stoppers were gone. But whatever, it works now!
