cruise control and radio controls on steering wheel from 2001 maxima work on 2k?

I was looking through ebay, and I came across the radio controls that mount on the steering wheel. I was wondering if these would work with the 2000 nissan maxima model? they would be coming from a 2001 model so maybe it will fit and work without major modifications. Please let me know. thanks
