Just for clarification; when you say "swap," are you simpy referring to the auto to manual transmission swap or are you referring to an engine swap? If the latter, I haven't found an SR that had factory cruise although the RB from the Laurel and Cefiro came with cruise. The issue is not the electrical side, because you can retain the electronics (ASCD box, actuator/vacuum pump, etc.); the issue is usually the throttle body. The non-cruise engines only have the single connector for the throttle cable; the factory cruise engines also have the second connector for the cruise/ASCD actuator cable. For the manual transmission swap, you would need the clutch inhibitor switch circuit which works just like the auto transmission neutral/park switch to disengage the cruise. There are aftermarket cruise devices that can be installed on basically any vehicle, regardless of the throttle body design/configuration.
