Headed home last week with the cruise set. The cruise released on it's own and the green cruise light on the instrument panel began blinking. The green light on the "Cruise On/Off) button was no longer on. After a restart, no light at the On/Off button the the cruise set light on the panel was dark.

Anyone seen this before and/or know how to fix?

Thanks

Yeah, I spassed setting it on my 1995 with 72K the other night. Control light blinking and I could not set nor defeat. Had to turn off ignition and everything is fine afterwards.

I had the same issue on both Q's. Seems to happen about once a month. I'll turn the dash switch on - set the cruise, and get the flashing light. It may be after hitting the "accel" button... don't remember. Usually turning the dash switch off once and then back on cures it. I remember having it not reset with the dash switch once and had to turn the ignition off and on as Brian did. One of those quirks I've never figured out because it's so intermittant.

Unfortunately, nothing seems to be bringing me back to life on the cruise. Haven't tried the traditional disconnect of the battery cable but thought I'd get the word from the street first. Thanks.

Try the battery thing and then let us know if that fixes... I bet that fixes it.
