Cruise Button -> Sleeper button?

I'm going to go pickup my 93 240sx on wed , and the cruise is broken on it, and I have no motivation to fix it since I will never use it so I was thinking of turning the Cruise On/Off buttons into Sleeper Headlight On/Off buttons.

Anyone know if this is possible and/or know how to do it?

it could be done. but you would have to do alot of research. i thought about making them into a fuel/ignition cut, but i didnt feel like diggin thru the fsm to see what wires were triggered by the switch

I took a look at those to see if I could re-wire my cruise control to somewhere else after getting a Nardi wheel, but it only took me about 3 seconds of looking before giving up.

The wires in the wheel are not directly connected to the car, because there are no wires or plugs to unhook when you pull off the wheel.
