On my 2009 g37 sedan I have been hearing noise on my steering rack below on my crossmember went under the car and found out my crossmember is crack that holds the steering rack in place.

I was wondering if anyone know how to remove the crossmember and the basic steps on how to swap it out or any diagrams they can show me on how to do this thanks.

If anyone have any information on helping me please let me know thanks.

here is the picture if any one wants to see it copy and paste to url.

Wow...That looks painful.

Yours is the first I have heard of so it may have been a weak area in your casting or something had really tweaked it.
