Crossdrilling rotors

Anybody every do it themselves to the stock rotors?If so, what was your drill pattern, or is this a really bad idea that I haven't thought through...

Not wise. Rotors are cast as a single piece and if you drill them without re-tempering or stress relieving the rotors, they WILL crack and possibly shatter.Crossdrilled or slotted rotors are so cheap for these cars I wouldn't waste my time trying to do it myself. We are talking barely a few tens of dollars here.

i would like to see these cross drilled and slotted rotors sold for "tens of dollars" i've never seen a pair of rotors for less than 200 from a reputable company like brembo
