From the picture here zerothread/393144The FR and RR label is on the driver sidebut on the nissan side http://www.nissanusa.com/rogue/accessories.htmlit shows that it is on the passenger side

Not quite understand your question. Where do you see FR and RR? What is the difference how you install the crossbars? They gotta be the same from any corner.

What I am asking is that the side with FR labeled on the crossbar goes to the driver side or passenger sidelook at the picture below, the left and right side are different

The thing is, the dealer installed it, so I don't have the instructionif according to the label,FR mean front right, or front passenger sideand RR mean rear right, or rear passenger sidebut the dealer install it the other way(FR at the front driver side)

I took it off because I don't use it for now,and I see the FR and RR so I am just wondering if the dealer installed it the wrong waybecause I can hear wind noice when above 60 mph

I know for sure mine came from manufacture and was not installed by a dealer because I saw the car under plastic and other stuff with cross bars. When I bought the car I thought cross bars is a standard acc for SL but I was wrong. So I'll let you know tomorrow which way it is installed on mine.

It is probably illegal but I passed inspection in a small shop who didn't even check anything. Did computer check and I was good to go. He looked that this is a new car and everything should work perfectly.

Did you ever drive it at night time?Is it going to blind the oncoming traffic?

It looks very coolthe only thing I did on my rogue is that I change the fog light and high beam to HID 20k with the blue color, and change the bulb for the main light to 8k. I am planning to change all the other lights to led

Just checked the crossbars. They installed to a driver's side. But still I don't see a difference which way crossbars would be installed.

the different is that, when you put it in the passenger side, the arrow will point to the back(so the u shape will have the opening point to the back of the car)Thanks, I guess the R in FR and RR means something else

I bought and installed my own crossbars quite a while back, and I remember the instructions were pictorial, and very clear. I checked my Rogue and the front crossbar is mounted with the FR underneath, on the drivers side with the arrow pointed forward. It had to be mounted that way, otherwise the crossbar would be over the rear of the sunroof.

I just looked at the instructions, it seems that FR=FRont and RR=ReaR, they say the arrow always points to the front of the car.

Hi,

I just brought a new 2009 Murano LE on March 13th 2009, and I'm looking for some new but not to expensive cross bars to go with my sliver accent roof rails.

Rogue Crossbars are not compatible with the Murano. I would try posting in the Murano forum. You can also purchase crossbars from our site sponsors on the the RH sidebar =>
