sup, i'm doing a 5 speed swap on my s13 and was wondering if the automatic transmission cross member will work or do i need the manual one...

I think hands down the 5 speed swap question is the most asked on this site.

Yes you do need the crossmember from a manual transmission, as well as the manual transmission driveshaft.
