I have been outbid on the fronts, but I will wait and see. I will bump the bid at the last minute.

Thanks, guys!

Given that I paid $229 for four cross-drilled, slotted rotors directly from Irotors.com, I would suggest that any price near, or very slightly above, $110 for each of these pairs, is probably an excellent value!

So, don't bid too high at the last moment either! :)

I had a customer call, and had to leave, 5 minutes before the auction ended, and got outbid on both auctions.

Oh well, I will keep looking for that "perfect deal"

I have been fighting with myself, over the irotors, and there is another guy for about $20 to $50 more, will plate them, to eliminate the rust.

Hey Z, how many miles do you have on the new rotors now? Are they plated?

Thanks for your help!
Ouch! :( One thing I have discovered about eBay is to go ahead and bid a reasonable maximum up front and then carefully try to keep my re-bid impulses to a minimum (not always successfully, of course :) ). This tends to get me stuff at a fair price.Quote »I have been fighting with myself, over the irotors, and there is another guy for about $20 to $50 more, will plate them, to eliminate the rust.
This month, Irotors has a sale on Zinc plating - it is free in June!Quote »Hey Z, how many miles do you have on the new rotors now? Are they plated?
I had to go out of town for five days (was in Georgia and Florida till yesterday evening), so I did not get a chance to put too many more miles on it. I now have about 250 to 300 or so miles and everything is still going fine. No new impressions since the last long post I did on them. They seem to be working out well so far!

Mine are not plated - I got them before they were doing plating. They look just fine right now, of course! I suspect that they will eventually rust on the edges.Quote »Thanks for your help!
You are welcome.

I just went and looked at those auctions - the winner got one heck of a good deal! Sorry you missed out, Jeff!

My standing rule for eBay bidding, is 50% of retail, with wild spurts over retail, when I get the urge. I am under a microscope, with the wife, on unnecessary spending, and I have promised to cut out eBay, for a while. I thought, if I could get these ( I bid in the $150.00 range for both, because they are not slotted), I could spend a little extra on the Tokiko Blues, and maybe, get a rear sway bar.

I'll keep looking for the deals. I wish I could get the zinc plated ones you mentioned, but I am remodeling the bathrooms, and my old truck has a knock in the motor, so my "play" money is a little thin.

I guess I will turn the front rotors, one more time, and wait for the next deal.
