Cross Bars for Roof Rails to Complete "Roof Rack". Anyone?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Want to see some options to complete the roof rack. I saw the silver cross bars but they don't seem very functional to haul a kayak or bike. The car just looks incomplete with rails only. Pictures Please!

You would need to attach a bike rack or a kayak rack to haul those items. They will attach right up to the cross bars. You can go to Yakima.com or Thule.com for more ideas and options.

I have the OEM cross bars and while I think they are too close together for some things, they work fine for hauling my two 14 foot Pungo (Wilderness Systems) kayaks, but that is with Yakima J bars. The roof would not be wide enough to lay them flat. The racks are neither wide enough nor spaced far enough apart for my 17 foot Penobscott (Old Town) canoe. I haven't tried a roof mounted bike rack (I have a hitch rack). Sorry, I don't have any pixs.
