Ok guys, i have rs racing coil overs w/ KYB struts. but my beef is that my front right side sits like 1/2-3/4 inch higher than the driver side. Now i have both coils lowered as much as they will go on each side. I instaleld the coil over and strus my self, I even took them off and put them back on to see where or for what ever reason the right side rides higher. I cant figure out whats the deal. Can some one give me some ideas here, besides raise the driver side to make it even! come on peeps!

I have a crooked ride height problem too, only mine is that there is more wheel gap in the back...is that normal?!? I mean, is it supposed to be lower in the front?

hmm well if you got coil overs then you should be ableto lower the back more than the front. But anyway anyone got any more ideas about my higher passenger side

Wasn't there an installation/adjustment sheet with your coil overs? If you're at the bottom on all four coil overs and the car doesn't sit right, and it's not too low, you need to do something else to lower the car and raise the lower spring perch.

First, determine the ride height you want based on the height of the top of the fender lip. Adjust both front coil overs until the ride height is the same. You may have to raise or lower the perch. Go to the back and do the same thing realizing that raising a left rear will lower the right front. Adjust all four lower perches until the car sits with the attitude you want (level or slight rake). Now, at least one of the coil overs should be at it's lowest setting. If the car is too high, you need to jetison the upper perches that came with the kit and get a set of camber plates and thin upper perches. This will correct the camber, raise the upper perch and allow more travel with the same spring. A cheaper alternative is to get shorter springs. Everyone and their brother makes 2 1/2" coil over springs in every imaginable height and rate.

Hope you can get it down and make it level.

nah the back is not lowerd all the way, the back is fine. but the front is given me some headache, on the front left and right sides i have the coils spun down as far as it can go. I can fit one finger between the tire and fender on the left side and can get like 2 to 2 and a half fingers inbetween the tire and fender on the right side. Now everything is installed i dentical and set up identical on both sides. I even took the strutle and spring off and reinstalled them, still the same prob. The only possible reason i can see is that some how one spring has a slaigtly higher spring rate... they are both supposed to be at 350lb.....Any opinions??

Are the springs 2 1/2" coil over type springs? If they are the large diameter stock type springs, they have to be aligned properly in the upper and lower spring perch. If they are coil over type springs (meaning they are squared and ground to sit flat) this isn't the problem.

What I'd do is jack up the car so there is no load on the front springs. Measure the free height of the springs on both sides. The height, not the rate, is more likely to cause this problem, since you've got a fairly stiff spring (350). Are you sure you have the front springs in front and the rear springs in the rear, not the left rear spring in the front or something like that? Anyway, the free height should be the same. If not you've got to replace one or both springs. If they are the same, then the problem is with your spring mounts. Make sure the lower perch sits the same distance from the spindle mounting bolts and the upper perch doesn't have an extra part on the right side.

Also don't overlook that the problem might be in the rear. The rear may be the right height, but it could be allowing the left front to be down with the wrong spring set up in the rear. It's like a four legged stool, if everything isn't right one of the legs will be off the ground and the stool rocks, in your case down on the left front.

Let me know how it goes.

they are the coil over type srping. But everything is set up exactly the same, liek i said i even resinstalled them to make sure, spindles are at the same exact height, everything is the same on both sides. The back are both even and fine. I have not tried jackin it up and measuring the free hieght, i guess ill do that. so if you got any more suggestions let me know
