Ok so for the past week ive been helping my brother swap out his engine on his VW GTI. We cleaned out the engine bay real nice and decided to do some shaving here and there when we decided something was missing. weve never seen a car with graffiti art on it so we said what the hell and did it.

what cha think?

Unless you used high heat paint, I'm betting it'll disappear a week after you get it on the road.

I think the idea of doing the graffiti in the engine bay is a pretty cool idea, and the second car's bay really shows that it can look pretty bada**. The idea was there for the first car, just the execution wasn't the greatest. Add some more tags and characters to the bay and it could end up looking pretty sweet, some of the tags are of a surprisingly high level of skill.

Yeah, keep us updated if you decide to take the project any further and add more, definitely looking forward to seeing it. If I was going white with my s14 I would consider doing like the above mural, but gonna go for a solid black everywhere, but maybe a small tag in the engine bay would add a little custom touch. It now seems like a really sweet idea, a tag near the hood latch or firewall.

Yakuza engine bays, the next big trend in the import scene?

Its fine because after all you're putting a hood on it, so its really more for your friends and people that watch you work on your car.
