The spore servers have been wonky. Maybe the authentication servers are having the same trouble. Just call the hotline and they should be able to fix everything for you.

Magically I had just received an email from EA that my spore game has been registered. Kind of weird, since every time I registered it, there was some failure message associated with it. Oh well, I'm not gonna complain about magic.

Yeah, EA's product registration is beyond horrible. They want you to register so bad that they're basically bribing you, but you actually have to register an account with them, log in, and go through all this rigamarole that's NOT worth it (even for the 100% offline games). More EA BS.

I had the same thing happen in the past with multiple EA products.

Oh well, don't worry. When I take over the world, EA is getting dissolved, Maxis is getting their own offices, and the EA heads will be publicly executed on the evening news.

I think it was meant as a joke, if not... that end part was MAD funny.

^ Haha. I wanted to see how many people would be rolled before someone "outed" the link. I thought it was god-damned funny, too.

They rolled properly. Too many people these days don't understand what a good roll-troll should be. Also, it was a very good display of what constitutes Poe's Law "Without a blatant display of humour, it is impossible to tell the difference between religious Fundamentalism and a parody thereof. "

No plans for a 360 or PS3 version right now, though it hasn't been ruled out. I imagine the dev time to make it work on the PS3 would pretty much push it out of any realistic development window, though. 360 is probably doable since it's so similar to the PC.

I haven't touched the game since I hit the tribal stage.

Thinking of bringing it back to gamestop and taking a loss on it. It's not as exciting as I thought it would be.

You should finish the Tribal stage and move on to Civ. The pace really picks up with the Civ stage. There's a LOT of stuff to do (you design everything by hand...all your buildings, all your vehicles).

I bought the game. This is a great game. Well done. Well thought out. I have no complaints about it.

It keeps the game interesting by changing playing styles with every stage. Each stage also gets longer. 1st stage about 30 mins. 2nd stage about 1 to 1-1/2 hour. 3rd stage about 2 hours. 4th stage 3 to 4 hours. 5th stage (so far) 6 hours.

I've very impressed with this game.

My favorite quote out of the game though, "bigfatuglyaliansaywhat?" (i referance to attacking another galactic empire). I laughed for like 30 seconds.

I found out what I hate about the game.

It's the controls, omg when you enter the creature stage why in the hell are the controls so stupid. And then they only get worse in Tribal mode. Granted it's not game breaking stuff, but it is very annoying that they decided to do it like that. Maybe I'll get back into it.
