I step on the brakes hard moving slowly and it feels like stepping on creaking hardwood floors in an old house. Same thing when I'm going up my curb (the curved ones)

I was thinking Blown struts, noisy coils, looks braking components, dry braking components?

I replaced the t/c rod bushings recently, so thats not the problem-think.

Probably your struts. My blown ones made tons of noises. One in the rear sounded like my dust sheild was rubbing something...I kept taking the wheel off to inspect it, but never found anything. Pissed me off, but when I changed my struts, that one was severely blown...it's own weight would compress the strut! There was no rebound at all! Also, one in the front made tons of creaking sounds too.

Nice...well that sucks for me. I have had those tokico hp for only like a year and a little bit. There goes $350 down the drain. That, and the money i'll need for some agx's, i could have gone for some teins. BLAH Thanks a lot DoriDori . By the way, is "dori" short for "drift" in japanese? as in.."DORIfto"?

Oh, you have aftermarket struts? Damn, that sucks if they blew in 1 year. I was talking about my stock equiptment. Hmm, maybe the sound is coming from elsewhere?

About the name; yeah, in Japan, dori is another name for drift or dorifto...but I got the name from a specific person. Keiichi Tsuchiya, the 'Drift King'...also known as the 'Dori-King' and the 'Dori Dori'. He appears on a lot of Option videos and Best Motoring. He is the little guy with the green and white get-up...IIRC, it's a Kenwood sponsored uniform. He was the inspiration for Initial D...he still uses a AE86 as his main drift car. He actually made a cameo in the show that a lot of people never picked up on. He's also a driver of one of the JGTC GT500 NSX's (autobac's I believe). Anyway, you get the picture.:icon18

haha yeah...my friend went to that drift competition down in socal. He watched The drift king do this thing and a couple of his friends qualified for the D1 drift comptetition in japan. He showed me a couple video clips of them drifting...pretty cool stuff. Anyway...About the suspension, it didnt do that until recently, after i changed the brakes, to be exact. So, I will torque all the bolts sinc ei didnt do that the first time, and reinstall the brake pads since i dont know..maybe i did it wrong. Yeah. I wonder what else it could be though...
