Hi.

I notice the rear dash/panels have an awful Creaking/Cracking sound when driving during the winter.  Driving over uneven surfaces like snow or entering/exiting a driveway the rear dash panels are making a very annoying sound and only when it's cold.  I've tried sticking socks and other dampening materials like weather strips, where the rear glass touches the panels but it didn't help.
I'm guessing others have this problem during winter and i'd love to know what you may have done to fix it and where it would have been isolated to specifically?
Thanks in advance.

It's usually the plastic pawls holding the panels which make cold weather noises. The dashpad itself is screwed down, but most of the other panels like the glove box are held on with a combination of pawls and screws. Pull them off while it's warm and hit all the pawls with dry silicone.
