Hey y'all, I posted a video on YouTube that I'd like you to listen to and let me know what you think. There's not much to look at, but the creaking/knocking/tapping sound is there. It starts out 11 seconds in, and comes and goes after that. You may need to listen with headphones on in a quiet room, but anyway it should be apparent if you listen closely. Any thoughts on what it could be? I'm not mechanically inclined enough to start taking things apart to isolate the noise, but I need some ideas on what could be causing it. It sounds like it's originating from either the console or from one or both of the front seats. All I know is that it's annoying as all get out!

Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0vwWroPV9U

If you were in my shoes and it was your new coupe, what would you do - take it to the dealer, or just crank up the stereo and ignore it?

Yes! It does sound like it's coming from that area. I guess if it's normal, I can live with it.

Check the seat belt on the passenger side. It has a tendency to click back and forth between the side pillar and the seat. The seat belt guide on the side pillar is on a little positional thingy (technical term) that will snap into the forward position. If you position the belt guide in the forward position and adjust the passenger seat a little, you may lose the sound.
