Sounds kinda dumb, but i wanted to drop a 2JZ in the 300, ik it's a toyota engine, but man, the 2jz pushing 10psi can outrun a vg30dett pushing 19 psi.

Nothing wrong with a 2JZ..I was halfway through swapping a 2J into a s14 before i came upon my z32....Looking back i regret selling my 2jz and s14 to get my Z. I may have beem $8k into the s14 and it still was;t wired..But im well overt that into my Z and now im rebuilding the engine,,FML whyt did i ever think the z was a "better: idea?

..But i do love my Z. Wanted one since i was 14.

And on the plus side, working on a 2jz is a walk in the park compared to the VG.

trust me, ik the feeling. i have to take my car to a mechanic, and even he doesn't like working on a VG. i was also contemplating on putting the VH45DE, and Turbo charging it.

I like the VH45dett as well. However it would be way more cost effective to swap an lsx.

What i'd do, or am planning:

- Convert my oem taillights into red/white 186 individual led tail lights.

- Do a vh45dett build :O I want it so bad you have no idea, but there's little amounts of information on what's available nowadays.

- With the engine out, I would also perform a RHD swap at this time. I'm planning this and the VH project in 2 years, or maybe even this winter.

- Building a Roof Rack from a Yakima Rack for my three skateboards, (planned this weekend, im not putting those dirty greasy thigns in my car, ur crazy. If you want to do this, you need Q towers, and Q11 clips found on ebay or on your local CL. Luckly, I found my setup for 150 locally )

- Mount porsche full face turbo twists 18x10 5x130 (planned, sent out deposit.) might even fit 275's all around. Thanks for the tire fitment suggestion Tony.

- Rewrap door panels and under dash in custom fabric.. I want black alcantara on top and on the TTOP headliner, black bride fabric on bottom and under dash.

- Mount Porsche BBK brake setup all around, with clearly written PORSCHE calipers and 2 piece rotors.

- wide OEM style front fenders and wide fender flares molded to the body.

If i can do all of these things, I would be a happy camper...until I come up on a SRT10 engine and transmission..and 2+2 shell...
