call me a heretic if you wish, but i was wondering what 3rd gen supra taillights would look like on the back end of a 240z...

honestly I'd be suprised if it hdn't been doen already, sems everyhting else as

the issue I see is the supra lights have a curve, the S30 tail panel is flat, of course you could curve it I just don't think it would match the lines of the car, also the where the sides of the body meet the tail panel has a curve that I think anythign that doesn't follow looks kinda odd, of all the conversions I've seen, I 've seen some well doen Z32 tails btu the top needs a finnisher to complete the look imho, or the mustang tails, I also like the 411 tail light conversionhttp://zparts.com/showcase/tai....html

thats the ones I'm talkign about, ther eis a curve, see how the center of the car is furtherout thant he sides? the whole back of the car is a curve to it

The taillights you are wanting to put in do have a curve to them I have seen them in a z32 and the back if a 32 is flat it looked like garbage but its your car do what you want its not our decision make it look how you want it to

i think they would look silly one 240 myself... even if they were flat. as wide as those are and as narrow as the s30 tail is it would look flat out dumb.

can't beat the look of the 240 tails imo.

altough i am thinking about getting a pair to refurbish/polish up and use tightly spaced led's throughout the whole thing. i have a friend who is an electrical engineer and lighting is his specialty so he's been working up a plan to make it look tits

i have a set of good used 74 and a half (if it matters) 260z tail lights in good shape they could use a little cleaning up but they are all in tact i might even have a set of 240z tails i have a lots of extra z parts doors hatches hoods bumper for any year, and i mean any year. let me know if they interest you i would sell u both for under 300 dollars

the 260z uses the 280z style taile, those are still available for a little over a hundred each

i have a used set forsale for whatever there worth, there just extra parts if anyone was interested, i would rather sell them for a fair price if somone could use them, then have them sit it my garage.
