Crazy how life works out, Scam possibled saved my life

Soo this is my storyI bought eibachs through nissanclub from a guy parting out his car for insanely cheapthought i got a steal but as of last night, found out I got ownedI was suspcious that the springs looked like stock but I wasn't sure since I've never seen a set of Eibach's in my life so I gave the install a chance anywaysWhat end up happening is me and two of my friends ( 240sx nicoclub members i think) tried installing it on my top right side. End up taking us around 7 hours. It was a b**** to figure out how to take off the head on the struts. After popping off the springs, we compared it and jesus christ we got ownedPutting the stock brings back on was a b**** because we didn't have a compressor so we cranked the spring compressors by hand and we couldn't figure out the right placements.After about 3 hours of jumping on the springs using a door sill as leverage and all sort of things, we finally popped it back in.

As we were finishing installing it,my friend noticed my rear tire inside was nearly completely shredded to the point where the metal inside of the tire was showing. So, my car is out of commission till next week when I can go home and pick up my extra tire but jesus, my scammed eibach and the perfect timing saved my life from a possible blowout on the freeway.

Crazy how life works out.

wow crazy story. Glad you found that out about your tires. BTW how did you pay for the springs? If it was on a card you should call your bank and have them put a hold on the charge.

nah it was a while b just never got the chance to installand i used mobut i paid 100 shippedso i guess that 100 bucks went 2 saving my life

hes saying that if he wasnt scammed for the eibachs that he wouldnt have noticed his tire was messed up and could have had a bad accident.

Personally, i check all my fluids all the time, and tire pressure often.

You hear a lot of stories about people blowing motors cause it leaked oil over night.

Should check your car more bro, prevent a lot of things, honestly.
