is it possible to run 2 completley different fuel setups and switch between them using a switch? like run my stock lines and stock gas tank with the walbro in it and then hit a switch to turn off the walbro pump, and hit another switch to turn on a aremotive in-line pump with all ss lines and an fittings to a fuel cell? the only problem i c is having both feed lines T-ing into one fuel rail... has anybody ran anything like this?

i considered this. you should be able to do it. just have a Y at the fuel rail with on/off valves for the race gas and the pump gas lines. then switches for the fuel pumps, you should be able to use the stock pump wiring for bolth pumps. at the track just switch off the stock pump so it wont draw any amperage and close the on/off valve on rail for the pump gas, flip on the pump for the fuel cell and open its on/off and you should be good to go. i cant see a reason why it woulden't work.

I almost forget to mention the return lines, just route the the same as the supply lines. A Y on the fuel rail with on/offs and then back to the respective tank. otherwise you will have race gas returning to the tank not the cell.

Let me know how it goes and post some build pics. i would like to see how it turns out.

It's easy.

With all that work and money, you coulda spent just $400 to get a AEM meth injection kit.

yeah and since the car is not his daily driver risk having the valve get stuck open flooding his motor and hydrolocking it or racing and having the valve get stuck closed and detonating and blowing up his 10k motor. Great alternative....

Unless you buy cheap parts and run something other than distilled water or methanol, I've never seen someone blow their motor because the valve got stuck. Run an inline filter with safety switch and monitor. It's all in the kit.

Hydrolock? Hardly, it's not like you're spraying a water hose into your intake, very slight amount enough to cool the intake charge.

Can you explain how a stuck open valve can hydrolock an engine...how does the fuel get past the injectors unless the ecu opens them??

have u ever used a meth kit sunny? probably not thats why u suggest it. I had a meth kit from aem. **** happens the check valve can get stuck open. If u run a fuel cell in ur trunk those lines can easily hold enough meth to hydrolock a motor cranking it pressurizing it and driving it straight into ur combustion chamber

Yeah, check valves are for losers. A solenoid valve is the way to go.
