Crazy DRL project???

OK, I cant figure out how to post a pic, sorry. Maybe someone will help.

I am thinking about buying these, and trying to disassemble and fit onto the front lower fascia of my '11 M37Sport. In order to make it look good, and not just bolted on, I will have to cut into the two pillars on the front fascia. These are hollow and won't effect anything regarding structural integrity. But I am wondering is my project crazy?

I have a link to check out the DRL's. They are made for a Chevy Cruze of all cars, but I'd be using just the middle portion without the large black plastic piece... just the chrome strip and lights.

Theres a guy from the other M forum that did something similar to this as well. But he got his DRLs from a MB C300. Pretty Sick Mod
