Before any of you reply, PLEASE don't bite my head off for this post. After careful deliberation between buying a nice 450 bhp modded 1993 rx-7 or a 240sx with an rb engine, I think I have chosen the 240. Recently, I contacted unstable hybrids and asked them about the details of their rb26dett installation, and they responded, explaining that they would soon be coming out with a 4wd kit that would cost much less than the $5000 that the website quoted. I asked again about the kit, if it would come with the skyline's electronic torque converter (which is what makes ATTESA E-TS so awesome), and they said that it was only the mechanical version, and that I would have to locate the parts from the rest of the ATTESA system in order to have this. After looking for MANY hours, I have yet to locate any parts, and without this, the conversion isn't worth the effort for me. UH stated that most of the parts are in the trunk, and I'm pretty sure that a front clip would include the control computer. I need to know if anyone knows where I could acquire the ATTESA ET-S parts (I'm assuming that this includes sensors and wiring, and the actual torque converter/multiplate or magnetic clutch), and how much work it might take to put these in. Sadly, I'm caught in the middle when it comes to funds; about $20k, which is enough for a 240, the engine and its installation, and the rest of the 4wd (assuming the ATTESA E-TS isn't too much more), and I don't want right-hand drive, so please don't suggest to simply import a real skyline with motorex. Thanks.
