Did anyone happen to pick up the latest issue of Sport Compact Car Magazine? I was reading one at a friends house and it's the special Burnout issue this month (Jan 2004). Anyways, on page 76 there is a picture at the bottom of an Infiniti gracing the pages of the 50 best burnouts section. There's no name in the caption, but there is a location: Ottawa, Canada. I can't really tell what it is, but it looks like an I30 or an I35. It's definately a newer model, and I thought it was a late Q45 from my first glance, but it looks too small. Whatever the case, does anyone know if this person is on NICO? I gotta give them credit, making it into the top 50 burnouts of SCC an all. :thumbup

I was unaware that the I30/I35 were FWD. I thought both were RWD. So does that mean the I30 has a transverse V6 or I6? Same with the I35, I thought it used the same motor as the 350Z/G35 just watered down. I just figured mabey he backed up or something after doing the burnouts, the front end really looks like a Q at first glance, but then again, the new Q and I35 have similar front ends.

Oh and Fred, was the pic of the white Q45 with the bra on in SCC, and which issue? That's cool as hell. Your 94 Q45 looks beautiful too, when everything is closed. With the hood and trunk open, it looks like a beast.

I30 drivetrain = Nissan Maxima 3.0 drivetrain.I35 drivetrain = Nissan Maxima 3.5 drivetrain.

And YES the grill/frontends look very much alike.
