Hello,

I had bought some usd wheels (rota Grid)for my 93 240. i went ahead and got new tires, i put the rears firs and drove for qa whe and it was ok. i just got the front ones installed and right away i felt them pull to the right.

i thought with a new alignemt, my tires can be all good.

after the 1st alignment it stioll pulled to the right. so i took it back.

afte the second alignment it still pulled to the right. so i thought, let me put the stock wheels back in and when i did. it pulled to the left ?????

i checked for suspension parts broken, tie rods, etc but it all seemed ok(plus if there was any, the alignment guys would have told me right)

so has anybody have any ideas???

ill be checking the wheels again tomorrow. but if there's a known issue here please let me know.

thanks.

You have a bad tire!! It has a belt problem. They are warrantied against defects. Take it back and get the tires made up. Your issues started when you put tires on. If they rotate the tires from side to side it will change directions.

Hello,

well i looked at the wheels and they do have a small part of the lip ben slightly.

but after i put the wheels back on and driving it a couple of days the car actually seems to be too sensitive to where the road slant is meaning if the car is on the right side of the road then the car will veer right. if the car is on the left side of the road, the car will veer left.

something like the caster is set lower. and thus the car easily change direction.

has anybody felt this?

thanks

Yes raising the caster will help this, but if you are having a tire issue it will cause the car to drive funny also. Incorrect toe in in the front or rear will also cause a slight drift condition as well.

Thats true,

What can i measure on the tire to then go to discount tire and tell them this tire is defective, the ______ measures "OUT" of tolerance????

otherwise they'll say, its not a tire issue, its an alignment issue, then the alignment guys ll say its not an lignment issue its a tire issue.

thanks for the help.
