Let's hear your crazy vert stories!

Here's mine:

A couple of weeks ago, I moved these two huge chairs and ottomans 45 miles in my vert, with the top down, at midnight, doing 65mph on the freeway. The chairs were upside down and the bases were spinning like pinwheels in the wind. I got all sorts of strange looks from passing vehicles; nobody stayed behind me for too long.

Hahahaha, crazy ish.

Me... hmmm. Don't usually drive the vert around much. Craziest would have to be going up the PCH from Orange County -> San Francisco trying to chase Porshes down while on crappy all season no grip tires... of course, I lost, haha. And almost lost it a couple times on some very high cliffs.

Lol, wow I'm diggin the suv thing! For me, I guess, would be the time I zip tied spinner hub caps to my wheels, and started doing donuts in my old HS parking lot. It was all fun and games till one of the spinners broke loose.

Did 90-something mph on a long stretch of public road...during heavy rain and in moderate traffic. I don't know what got into my head and it wasn't something that I was proud of...I promptly slapped myself when I got home. I do spirited driving once in a while but I won't ever do that stunt again.

That's the craziest thing I remember out of a bunch of them.

Hmm I dunno what the craziest thing was. I drift alot legit/no legit. Dunno some people say it's crazy when I'm hitting some 3rd gear **** fasho. but other than all that. I think it was the day I bought my car. 2 days before a Drift Comp. I said ****. drove 4 hours north to get a 5spd swap the same day of buying it/registering it. got back at 6am the next day. Slept 3 hours. drove to the shop, did full 5spd swap, from there being I had blown shocks, drove 30 minutes south and sat there 5 hours at 7pm to install some coilovers, but the kid that had em prior stripped 3 of 4 bolts, and it was 2am trying to get them ****ers out. finally about 5am we finish, I drove home. layed down for 15 minutes, got back up took a shower, cleaned the car, and Drove to the Drift event. which went from 8am-8pmish then from there had to drive home, and I almost totalled the car 5 times on the way home from exhaustion.

Oooh, I got a LIST!

Let's see:

- Did donuts at 6 am in the parking lot at Firebird Raceway during NOPI...

- Hauled 2 100-lb Labradors and 4 18" tires 60 miles across town...

- Did 100mph from Phoenix to Riverside, only stopping for gas...

- Took my 88-year-old Aunt-in-law (?) for a full-throttle joyride...

- Transported a chuki bumper, 2 fenders and 2 doors 60 miles across town...

- Picked a race with a Z06 at a stoplight and bluffed the poor guy so bad he backed down...

- Drove for an hour in pouring rain with the top down on the freeway...

- and, of course, figured out how fast you have to go to lose a hood without the hood pins latched.

I did that the second to last day of school...tried to beat the storm home. If you drive fast enough with the windows up you don't get wet at all....back seat got soaked though.
