While not advertised as crate motors per se, I believe that Signal Auto will acquire an SR for you and do pretty much anything you want to it, they're very full-service if you want them to be, and it'll probably cost you less than the $12-15k Tomei wants for one of their engines. They also have US facilities.

I have no personal experience with them, I just know that in general, the name is generally regarded as pretty reputable. If you have experience to the contrary, I stand corrected.
