What a friday. I am now pretty screwed. On the way home from work i got into and accident avoiding a pedestrian in the street and a ford focus blocking entire right side of the road. causing me to slam into a wall of landscape timbers. To top it off both peole mysteriously dissappeared when i went to see where they were. So this is what i end up with.

I have more pics but i dont know how to post them. The worst part...I dont have collision so i have to pay for all of this myself. Thats what i get for no crushing the focus and killing that dude.

Ouch!!

However the good news is that you didnt do THAT much damnage, looks VERY rebuildable. I still have a drivers side fender, bumper, and headlight... Let me know!

It looks like the hood wasnt damaged which is good! Id also be happy to help you install the stuff so all you have to do is have it painted.

Lucky pedestrian!

It looks fixable, but not cheaply. I would have the alignment checked first to see if there is any frame damage, which will increase the repair cost quite a bit.

Wes that sounds great. Lemme know about money dates etc. shoot me an email or just post. I dont think there is any frame dmg but yes, its possible and i will take your suggestion maxnix and go get the alignment checked.

It says its 155 miles away. which according to mapquest would take 3 hrs. I could make it in about 2:15 mins. depending on traffic on 80-94. I have driven that route many times as i have a cottage in south haven michigan and have made that trip in 2 hrs flat in traffic. I'll give you a call sometime soon to see what we can work out.

Yeah I agree... I drive 120 miles one way from school and i make it UNDER 2 hours.... averageing 70MPH mathematically, you can only realize what that means

We should be able to have that bumper and fender swapped in like 1-2 hours...

wait till you get a better look at it. I pulled out a massive amount of wood chunks from the intake on the drivers side. Its all smashed up. Its funny tho cus the passenger side is perfect and the drivers side is mangled like crazy. the bright yellow spare doesnt help either.

Look by the airbox.. is there any damage at the point??? if so then its unlikely we're looking at any major frame damage....

I am almost completely positive there is no frame dmg. no dmg near the airbox. but you never know... hopefully I'm going to go get a new tire tomarrow so i dont have to drive around with the crazy yellow spare.

This is what makes the Internet a great place - people who've never even met each other willing to do stuff like this. Props to Wes.

Its probably good enough to drive 120 miles or so to my place, from there we can do further inspections.... Generalyl the point of posting something is to try and help someone!!!! I have a cornucopia of random suspension parts so if any of its damaged I probably have a spare....

Lets see. on thursday I suppose we could do something, but the weekend would be better for me.... I have to do some more checking, give me a call, sometimes it helps me to talk things through....

The point is, if you are trying to save your tush, don't rely on your butt as a precision instument.

Clear enough?
