Crashed my Baby on Friday the 13th! Damn ice... ;_;

Ok, so my day began with dropping the coffee filter on my feet early in the morning while getting ready to hit the road to work. "Great start of the day" was the thought that shot through my head and ok, I figured it would be and was prepared for a sh*tty day by the way it began, but never would I have imagined something like slipping and hitting into a post on my way in to work! I've been driving my baby for many years now, it was my home turf and I wasn't even going that fast so I dunno, well, long story short: it sucks to be me right now. So at first I thought it would be a write off and burst into tears at any mention of the car (yes, I'm a girl in case ur all wondering who the heck cries for a car haha) and the good news is it is repairable, so I'm feeling better about that, but very expensive and so I was just wondering what you guys think a decent price for such a repair would be? Basically I slid into a post on the left hand front corner of the car, which pretty much bashed it in. The good news is the engine is ok because it was the corner and not the front, intercooler, the headlight and filter have to be replaced and the frame has to be pulled out, probably cut and welded, no idea how they could bend that back into place and obviously the fender, lip and hood have to be replaced as well. Obviously the estimate of repair is a lot, so a second estimate would be good, just to have an idea... any thoughts?

The frame work is why the estimate is so high. It takes true skill to fix stuff like that. On the flip side, what ever they quoted you for the parts, id hit up craigs list and try and get some used parts on your own. We also have a classified section here, however shipping on some id that would be crazy (like the hood) btw when you own and crash a 240 ...... That can make a big beafy grown man cry. Lol
